I have had a common experience a lot of Samsung SGH105 users; I want to use a 2.5mm headset with the proprietary Samsung jack. I bought the Belkin adapter, it works fine for a month or two, until it breaks. I have now gone through two of these. It breaks because it is made poorly. If you never put it in a backpack or in your pocket, you might be OK for awhile, but it really shouldn't require such delicate care. Set your expectations up front and expect that this will work for a few months and then you will have to replace it.

I was disappointed when I finally received a product that would allow me to use earpieces not designed for the Samsung SGH-s105 phone. When it is plugged in, interference can be heard from both parties. However, it is even louder on the recieving end of the phone call than from the person making the call. The only saving grace of this product is it's price and that's not saying much since I had to buy 2 in order to justify the shipping costs.

Customer Review: Good phone with nice features; low battery life
I bought the base station with two of these phones at Walmart, and my wife and I really like the phones so we bought two more phones to add to the system (the base supports 4 phones) It's nice to be able to use the phones as intercoms to talk throughout the house. Ability to listen to messages at any remote phone is a nice feature also. The display is easy to read, and you have a choice of a number of ringtones on each phone. The battery life is not great, though. The phones need a recharge after an hour of conversation.

This is the worse phone I've ever owned! I bought this to replace another bad phone but this one turned out to be even worse. People complain that they can't hear me even when I put it on "Boost" and lately it just turns off by itself in the middle of the conversation. I tried to contact Panasonic on-line but haven't heard from anybody yet - I guess I will have to call them to resolve this problem. Do not bother buying this item - it's not worth it.

I bought this phone for the over ear option on the headset. Once the unit arrived, I noticed the frail quality of the handset. Sure enough the ear loop broke within 6 weeks. I called RCA support to get a replacement, but they do not make replacement ear loops. RCA will replace the entire unit if it is within the warranty period, but it takes 4-6 weeks to get the replacement. I got a replacement unit and the ear loop broke again in 3 months. I bought one of these based on it being the most unobtrusive looking bluetooth headset at the store. The documentation is simultaneously inaccurate and insufficient, whoever timed the button holds wasn't paying attention. Worse, even "paired" with my phone, the sound has only come to the headset once, and instead is usually routed to my cell phone's earpiece anyway. Completely unsatisfied.

I've been finding it difficult to read others' reviews saying not to buy the phone becuase it gives out, the pad malfunctions, etc., because I have owned this phone for two years now. The phone has been dropped, handled by children, and left off of the charging base for up to three days without the battery dying. I have never had to replace the battery and the number pad has worked great since the day I bought it. I can go outside of my house and the signal stays strong. I'm so glad I bought this phone because I had purchased another phone around the same time and that phone gave out about a year and a half ago. I feel bad for the people who have experienced problems but this is a phone that I would buy again in a heartbeat.

I ordered this phone for my parents because the numbers looked big. When I got the phone in the mail I was surprised because the picture does this phone no justice. The numbers are in fact big and the screen whenever a call comes in is easy to read. My father no longer has to get off the couch anymore to read the caller id. It's real good for screening calls because now its easier to ignore 1-800 numbers because we can see the caller id from feet away. I must admit though just last week the Astrix button fell off, granted we don't use that button I still wish that the phone was not 6 months old because I would have returned it. Other then that I still love this phone. The sound and the ringing is loud..did I mention it vibrates?
